Oh, Christmas Tree!

Let the holiday season begin!! Mike and I are officially a married couple - the wedding day didn't make it real, finding out we're expecting a baby didn't really do it for me - but buying a real Christmas tree together...now I can finally say that we are officially a married couple!!

Isn't it a beauty?? I had a thing or two to learn about live trees in your house - first, you have to saw off the bottom in order for the tree to drink up the water. Who knew?

I also learned that Christmas needles somehow manage to get into every nook and cranny in your apartment - I was half expecting to find Christmas tree needles in my underwear. The upside to all those green sprinkles, our house is filled the delicious aroma of pine needles making the entire apartment feel Christmas-ready!!
