The family headed north for a week at the Estrold Resort in Eagle River. We had 7 cabins, 2 speedboats, and lots of people. Mike couldn't get off of work for the whole time, but was able to be with us for the first half.

Although Mike couldn't be there, we brought back a Lukaszewicz family tradition and took all the kids fishing at the dam. 2 dozen doughnuts were purchased with the promise of a doughnut if you caught a fish. The morning was beautiful, but the fish were absent. We ended up just eating the doughnuts.

Alice and I were largely spectators to the event.

It was a wonderful week...that left Alice all tuckered out.

The summer has been good to Alice. She loves the outdoors and has recently discovered a love of parks. She thinks that swings and slides are both called "Weee!"

Amidst all of the fun, we have had a lot of sickness this summer. Here is our little darling with one of many, many runny noses.
