Door Country Trip

We headed out as a family on our longest trip yet, up to Fish Creek in Door County.

We made it!! Pam rented this beautiful house tucked away in a wooded area of Fish Creek.

On Saturday, we took a hike in Pennisula State Park. It was a beautiful, chilly day.

View from the look-out point.

The Lukaszewicz Family on their first hike - eggplant head is Alice.

Pam far below!

Alice slept through most of the hike.

She woke up for lunch and demanded the group stop to eat with her.

3 Months Old

Alice recently went on her first camping trip! We joined Gigi and Grandpa Bob at Devil's River Campers Park.  While it may seem impressive to bring a 3 month old on a camping trip, notice the comfortable camper (complete with air conditioning) in the pictures below.

Alice continues to enjoy her toys and has recently figured out that she can reach out and grab them!

I am lucky enough to still be on maternity leave, so Alice and I continue to spend our days together. It is absolute heaven.

Our little girl has become a little chatter box and we can often hear her talking away as she lies in her bed. In the video below, Mike brought the video camera in to catch her bedtime chatter.

Hot July

The heat has been rising which has left us with a few cute pictures of our half naked daughter.

Alice's favorite toy - she could spend her whole day just staring into this guy's little face.

Finally, the blog has been rather dominated by our little midget...just wanted to let you all know that Mom and Dad are having a great time during all of this too!!

Happy 4th of July!!

We were so lucky this year to celebrate the 4th of July out at the Lake House with so many family members!! Please enjoy some photos of the day:

We even managed to wrangle all these people together for a group shot:

The next day, Alice and I got a little time in the lake before the sun came out with Kelley and the girls. It was pretty chilly and she most definitely did not appreciate the cold water.

I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July!!
