Alice's 1st Birthday Party

On April 12th, we celebrated the first year of our little baby's life. We crammed 26 people into our 2 bedroom flat. We ate, we drank, and we were definitely merry. (Albeit, with a few tears from the kiddo)

The family at her first birthday.

Two of the youngest ladies at the party - that is Alice's favorite face right now.

Sister Love.

Some of the party-goers, and the other young lady at the party, Stella!

Best buds.

"Happy Birthday to you!"

First cake for Alice - pink frosting got everywhere.

We tried to get a shot of all the cousins...unfortunately, James was mid-diaper change. We tried to keep the troops together (as you will see), but we never managed to capture James in the pictures.

Normal shot - Alice and Henry did not get the memo.

Everybody make crazy faces!!

Everybody make scary faces!

It was a great party. Thank you to everyone for helping our little girl celebrate her first birthday!

Do you remember?

So, I just downloaded the photos off of Mike's phone. Today's blog post is a little trip down memory lane through the eyes of Mike...

Alice at 6 weeks old.

Our family trip to Summerfest - Alice is a little over 2 months.

Alice and Edie at the Beehner Family Reunion - Alice is 4 Months Old

Alice and Dad come to visit me in my office - Alice is 5 months old.

Alice and Lucinda - still 5 months (Lucinda is 8 months)

This is what happens when Mike is left in charge of Alice - a stranger took this picture. These two were on their own.

Before she could sit on her own - 6 months old.

Dad and Alice on a walk on a chilly day in November.

First time she rolled over in bed - that girl did not want to roll!

Reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom - a family favorite.

Merry Christmas - Alice helped to decorate the tree.

And she was very happy with the result.

What's up?

Making a stop at the public market - Alice is 10 months old.

Alice's first time in the swings on one of the first warm days of the year.
I hope you enjoyed the recap...I certainly did.
