Manitowoc Kondo Wedding

Mandy and Kei celebrated their marriage in Manitowoc on March 24, 2012 following their Hawaiian wedding.  Here is the beautiful couple all ready to go!

I don't have any more sophisticated-looking pictures from the event...here is the party.
Mandy and Kei rocking the dancing floor...is that Party Rock Anthem I hear?

Laura and I pose for a quick photo op.

Wait, is Mandy doing yoga on the dance floor?
Mandy and Mom rock the floor.

This is what shots can do.

Yes, Mandy...the microphone is in your hand...now sing it, girl!

Prijic girls rock it all night long!
This next series of pictures is one of my favorites...do you think we were having fun??

Late-night dance circle.

Babes and Party Animals...at the same exact time.

The three Beehner girls...no more.
Congratulations, Mandy and Kei. We love you and are so happy for you!!

Mantiwoc Wedding: Preparation

On March 23rd, we were all gathered together in Manitowoc following the excitement of our Hawaiian adventure to celebrate Mandy and Kei's marriage with the U.S. folks. Magdalene is ready to get this party started:

On March 24th, the girls packed up all the necessary girlie things and headed to a local salon where Mandy's childhood friend Michelle Horness ended up being her beautician!! Here the two old friends reconnecting over a bridal hairstyle.

Here is the finished product (with a very excited little niece at her very first salon experience!):

Here is Juliette's first ever salon up-do. She was quite the trooper, although we forgot to put a shirt on her that would fit over her hairstyle.  The salon had this sweater they were letting her use, but Juliette was not too happy to be put into this big, baggy black sweater.

Pre-Wedding Hawaii II

Let us pick up where we left off, we were ziplining for Mandy's bachelorette party.  That night Kelley and I secretly decorated our lanai for Mandy's bachelorette party...please notice the tiny Kei's hanging from the ceiling.
After a nice dinner, we headed back to this party scene for one of Mandy's favorite activities: Drinking Games!

The next day, Mandy and my parents had last minute wedding things to attend to, so Kelley, Chen, Mike and I headed out to see the "blowhole".  The spray from the hole was only moderately impressive, but the view was amazing.

On the path leading to the blowhole, there were all of these rocks eaten away by the salt water and often growing new life right out of them.
Adventure complete, homeward bound.
Back home, the boys got some basketball in thanks to a generous donation from my parents of a ball from Costco.
Mandy and Kei took all of their wedding guests out on a whale watching adventure.
We were on the constant look-out for this....
Only thing left to do...get Mandy and Kei married!!

Pre-Wedding Hawaii

On March 12, Kelley, Chen, Mike and I boarded a plane in Chicago to fly to Hawaii.
We landed in Honolulu for a brief lay-over...just enough time for our first Mai Tai.
We landed in Maui and found our way to our own personal paradise.

This first night, we went to traditional Luau down the beach from our house. The boys decided to rock mini-mohawks in honor of our waiter in Honolulu.  Open bar, delicious food, and ocean front views of the show.

Kei's mohawk won the prize as the most hilarious.

We spent a lot of time hanging out at our ocean front Condo. Mike made delicious Maui-Mornings every morning as we laid out and floated in the water.

Mandy ran a Yoga class in the yard. Ocean front yoga...does it get better than that?
We visited the town of Lahaina and had our own Mai Tai pub crawl to find the best Mai Tai in town.

One morning, instead of biking down a mountain to see the sunrise, we decided to drive together to a look-out point at sunrise.  We were in the car by 5:00 am and drove to the other side of the island to see the sun rise together.
Waiting for the sun.

Finally, the ladies started Mandy's bachelorette party by ziplining!!
Here is shorty getting stuck on the zip line.
